About Mitch Dobrowner:
Mitch Dobrowner derives his inspiration from the natural world, and has photographed the landscapes of the Ameican West in the great tradition of previous masters who have captured it before him, in particular Ansel Adams and Minor White. There is a fine twist on the story though as Dobrowner has since 2009 teamed with professional storm chasers and the full glory and fury of a land energized by monsoons, tornados, and massive thunderstorms is revealed.
About McNair Evans:
McNair Evans is a San Francisco based photographer that works on in long-form, fine art documentary projects. In Confessions for a Son, published this fall, he explores the complex relationship between fathers and sons, the strength of family bonds, and the disappearance of an American agrarian way of life. His ongoing project, In Search of Great Men, examines contemporary American culture through the status of our passenger rail system and those currently traveling long-distance by train.
