About Beth Moon:

American born, Beth Moon has gained international recognition for her  large-scale, richly toned platinum photographs. Since 1999, her work has appeared in more than 60 one-person and group exhibitions in the United States, Italy, England, France, Israel, Brazil, Dubai, Singapore and Canada,  and has received critical acclaim in numerous national and international fine art publications.  Her prints are held in private and public collections such as The Museum of Fine Art Houston, The Museum of Photographic Arts San Diego and the Fox Talbot Museum in the United Kingdom. 

In 2013, the first monograph of Moon's work was published by Charta Art Books in Italy. In 2014, Abbeville published Ancient Trees: Portraits of time, and in 2015, La Langue Verte was released from Galerie Vevais in Germany.  She studied fine art at the University of Wisconsin before moving to England, where she experimented with alternative processes and learned to print with platinum. She currently lives with her family on the east coast near New York City.

About Amanda Marchand:

Amanda Marchand is a Canadian born, New York-based photographer and writer. Her work explores the poetics of landscape and the feminine sublime. She holds an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two wolf cubs, August and Emmet (who sometimes resemble boys).

A MacDowell Fellow and a Headlands Center for the Arts alumni, she has recently completed a residency at Arteles Creative Center in Finland (2015). Her photographic series, Night Garden, will be published by Datz Press, Spring 2015. Honors include winning Second Place for Curator's Pick at CENTER's Choice Awards (2015), an upcoming residency at Hewnoaks (summer 2015), a grant from DogGone Foundation (2014), a grant from the Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Quebec (2005), and the San Francisco Art Institute Merit Scholarship and Graduate Fellowship Award (2002). Her series 415/514 was published by Edition One Studios in 2009. She has exhibited in numerous exhibitions and is represented by Traywick Contemporary. She is also the author of the book of fiction, without cease the earth faintly trembles (DC Books, 2003) awarded "Critic's Pick" by NOW Magazine. Selected, early writings also appeared in anthologies and periodicals such as, The Portable Conundrum; You and Your Bright Ideas; Matrix; and The Moosehead Review.
