In the Shadow of Corona
Unprecedented times demand an unprecedented response. As a film photographer, I’m compelled to make this new work by any means necessary. These pictures are from the onset of the pandemic. Without a darkroom, my outdated cellphone is now my camera of choice. Personal “archival” images provide a backdrop to the current ones. I hope these pictures can express the anxiety, sadness and loss all of us are facing.
