Lived experience as it relates to place is central to my art practice. These photographs document my personal experience during displacement from the CZU Lightening Complex Fire. We were evacuated on August 19th at 3:30am from our home in Boulder Creek where my family was displaced for 17 days. During this time, we stayed in three different locations with limited resources and supplies. I was fortunate to have my camera with me to document the experience
